Lower student fees.
Frankly, that's it.
I'm running to force the politicians to take a stance on student fee
increases. Only when they perceive me to be a threat to their
voter base will they take this issue seriously enough to incorporate
it into their platform--should they decide to release a platform, that
is.
That's the extent of my official platform: Arnold, Cruz, Davis,
et. al. you are LOSING VOTES by not addressing this issue!
As
for my opinions on other subjects, I'm not making an issue out
of anything else. It's been my experience that the news media
likes to concentrate on one issue per minor candidate--Michael Wozniak
wants to legalize ferrets, Georgy Russell sells thongs, and Gary
Coleman was a child TV star. If I only have one issue, they can't
misconstrue my platform or ignore the issue about which I'm most
passionate. If you are curious about any other ideas I have,
feel free to e-mail me. I'd like to get in touch with all people
interested in me or my campaign. I like meeting new people, so
e-mail
me or IM me (Bommerman5) about anything on your mind.
Sept. 6--New beef: The U.S. Postal Service. I sent out my
audition tape for the GameShow Network's "Who Wants to be Governor of
California?" show on Wednesday--the tape was due Thursday.
I sent it by next-day $13 delivery. I just received an
e-mail from GSN explaining that they STILL have not received my tape
(it's now Sunday), and instead they have already chosen their
six candidates to compete on the show. This is incredibly
unfortunate, since the show would've been a great publicity boost for
the student fee increases. Therefore, I officially add the
following to my platform:
Lobby the federal government to implement a reliable next-day delivery
service in USPS.
Also, Fry's Electronics is the face of evil. Their customer
service stinks and their Sunday advertisements are often fake. The
product type advertised in the paper is not necessarily what you'll
find in the store; often the photograph, model number, product
specifications, and even the PRICE are all wrong. This is called false
or "bait and hook" advertising. Do not buy at Fry's.
I
OPPOSE the fee increases imposed upon the University of California,
California State University, and California Community Colleges by
the legislature and Regents, as a direct result of Gray Davis's budget.
